I’m sure I’m not the only husband who has returned from the store with the wrong detergent.
“I said, ‘Tide HD Extra with Bold NEW Floral Scent!’”
Or the wrong dish soap.
“I said, ‘Ivory, but not the concentrate—the regular white kind in the medium sized bottle.’”
I’ve come home with the wrong polish, toilet bowl cleaner, window cleaner, shower cleaner…the list is shamefully long.
Cell phones make it a little easier. But who knew how many kinds of anything exist in the world?
But now we have revenge!
I was picking up some groceries and looking for some beer when I heard a woman on the phone with her husband:
“So, I’m here…what kind of IPA beer? ….I know, I know…but there are three kinds of VooDoo Ranger IPA….There is too!! I’m looking at them right now….(sigh) There’s VooDoo Ranger Imperial IPA, there’s VooDoo Black IPA and VooDoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA…Seriously?….(sigh)

I reached past her for the obvious choice. Odell’s Original IPA cannot be improved on and every husband knows it.
They say revenge is sweet. But in this case, it’s bright with tropical aromas and a pleasantly smooth finish.
